CGS Scholarships for Entering Students

Students entering the University of Florida may apply for these awards.  For the CASSAS, student must enroll in modern Greek language class, for the PODES, student must take at least one course offered in Greek Studies and/or Classics.

  For a student enrolling in a modern Greek language class

How to apply?

• Print the appropriate application form for each scholarship, fill it, attach the statement and bring it in to the Classics office or post it to Dr. Hartigan, Department of Classics, PO Box 117435, Gainesville, FL 32611-7435.
• Application Deadline for Entering Scholarships is September 15.
• Application Deadline for all other scholarships is April 1
